SLEAFORD Live has announced more acts to appear at this year's festival in May.
The Legionnaires Club in Watergate will be starting off the week on Friday, May 3, when Tina will be singing in the downstairs lounge with a choice of songs taken from the 50s and from the following decades.
A free tea dance will take place in the Solo Club, Market Place, on Wednesday, May 8, from 2.30pm until 5pm.
On Thursday, May 9, there will be a second chance to see Hi Five at the Solo Club at 8pm. The band play a bit of jazz, a bit of blues and a whole lot of The Great American Songbook with vocalist Denise Elsam.
Two events will take place at The Electra Club in Electric Station Road. The first one will be on Saturday, May 4, when Oak – a rocking three piece, will play from 9.15pm.
The second event will be on Saturday, May 11, at 9.15pm, when Sleaford band Nightshift will take to the stage.
Four bands are lined up for Friday, May 10, at Sleaford Cricket Club from 7.30pm. Lincoln based Vanderjact will start the evening off, followed by Blind Wives – a three piece from Sleaford, Lincoln and Caistor.
Thirdly Concrete Donkey – another three piece, from Lincoln and Ruskington will play, followed by headline act Bear Makes Ninja – the three piece Sleaford band who won Lincoln battle of the bands 2012 and have been on two UK and Ireland tours in the last year.
