NORTH Kesteven Social Strollers have added a further two walks to their schedule of weekly health walks.

People of all ages can now join a leisurely stroll in the villages of Navenby and Waddington and anyone wanting to take part in the Navenby health walk should meet at the doctors surgery (LN5 0JJ) at 10am every Wednesday.

The Waddington walk will leave the village doctors surgery (LN5 9NX) every Thursday at 10am and each walk will last no more than one hour.

A health walk is a short, safe, social, local, low level, led walk, often by volunteers and is open for anyone to take part, just turn up on the day.

The walks are suited to those who are new to walking and want to begin with a small amount of exercise and are a great way to meet new people and socialise with members of your community.

All walks are free of charge – you will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to your first session.

Toilets and refreshments are available on both walks.

If you would like any further information, or would like to volunteer as a walk leader, please contact Carly Togher, NK Health and Sports Outreach Officer, on 01522 870252 or email nkhealthandsports@leisureconnection.co.uk.
